When I first touched this artwork, I thought I had stepped into an ancient Greek myth. Yet the more I reflected and looked into that resolute gaze, the more I realized it was a silent epistle. It is a visual vow that Chairman Nicholas Phan – a great Teacher and revered elder – intended to entrust to the thousands of children within the ONFA community who placed their trust and destiny in him.

He appears with the physique of a god descending from the mythical Olympus: muscles forged like cast steel, a chest as solid as a cliff against waves, and a fiery gaze that pierces the horizon. Why must a professor, an intellectual, and a refined entrepreneur manifest such a robust, sinewy form?

Because life’s sea is vast while human hearts can be treacherous. Our community, the children of ONFA, were once lost birds with tattered wings after storms of deception and heartbreaking collapses out there. We came to him with scarred hearts and shattered trust. We needed an anchor, a place of safety. And the Teacher, with the boundless love of a father, chose to become a mountain.

That strength is not to flaunt hegemonic power. Each muscle symbolizes the sacrifice of standing at the forefront. The Teacher exposes himself to crashing waves and winds, using his body as a shield to absorb the poisonous darts of public opinion, bearing on behalf of his children the heavy karmic burdens of the past. He accepts the gusts and the invisible wounds lodged in flesh, for a single exchange: behind him, his children may cultivate peace and rebuild their lives with assurance.

And do you see the radiant aura emanating behind him? That is by no means a mindless decorative stroke. It is the universe’s resolute affirmation: When a leader’s heart is as luminous as a guiding star and his great vow serves sentient beings rather than ego, the Celestial Beings will unite to support him. That halo is the light of truth, a lighthouse showing the ship the way through the darkness of ignorance.

Chapter 2: The vessel carrying "Way" into "Life"

The ONFA ship sails, cleaving two bands of blue water, its hold brimming with gold and jewels. The glittering lights of tokens OFT, OHO, OHO+, MTT and the unique gem OFC may lead one to assume the destination of this voyage is merely wealth and luxury.

But no, the Teacher’s thought runs thousands of times deeper. He often teaches: "Money is only a means, not the ultimate aim of life." Beneath the glittering material shell that fills the ship, the Teacher is undertaking a sacred mission never before seen: to bring the Way into Life.

In essence, the Teacher brings to the world the three most precious treasures and the quintessence of human existence: Heart (Virtue) – Mind (Wisdom) – Wealth (Talent & Assets).

The Teacher uses prosperity as a tool to cultivate people. In a money-driven world full of temptations, he wishes to use money itself to test and train our fortitude. He wants each member who embarks on this ship to carry not only a purse heavy with gold, but also a clear mind and a warm, humane heart. That is true, sustainable wealth through the ages, the legacy the Teacher wishes to leave.

Chapter 3: Nightly torments and the "Toad Universe" strategy

Cast your gaze broadly around the ship. We see the image of the "Royal Toad" majestic on the deck and beneath the deep blue waters are thousands upon thousands of other toads eagerly swimming along the current toward the mother ship. This is the solution to the thorny macroeconomic equation that has kept the Teacher awake through many white nights.

Once, the Teacher confided to me in a solemn yet determined voice: "My child, I have brought an abundant 'Planet of Fortune Toads' here to create prosperous farms for you. But looking back, my heart aches to see you still lacking the 'raw materials'. You lack ironclad faith, steadfastness and the wisdom to nurture the Fortune Toads."

Because he feels pity for the community’s internal weakness and fears that you may not keep pace with the opportunities of the times, the Teacher used his great moral authority and international vision to carry out a historic "great migration." He attracted and guided the "Fortune Toads" from international strongholds. These are massive exogenous capital flows and powerful financial resources from across the five continents converging on ONFA.

I stood still when I looked deeply into the focus of that wheel. If the Đông Sơn drum motifs on the outer rim awaken a fierce national pride as a vow that Vietnamese intellect will rise to the world, then at the inner core I found a striking philosophy of human life.

Right where the Teacher’s firm hand rests to guide, the Sagaha logo is present with solemn prominence. Why Sagaha—the emblem of the charitable fund? Because the Teacher wants to engrave in our minds one thing: "Root all development in kindness." Every voyage, however far, however profitable, must never detach from compassion and the mission of saving others.

But the wonder does not end there. Encircling that kindness is the depiction of the Auspicious Knot (endless knot). Those interwoven knots, without beginning or end, symbolize the mysterious Prajñā wisdom of Buddhism and the law of karmic cause and effect.

Each helm turn, each decision he makes is the perfect fusion of the cool head of an exceptional entrepreneur and the warm heart of a practitioner. That is the compass of Conscience, guiding the ship with the wings of Compassion and Wisdom, with a single aspiration: to bring peace, fortune and boundless blessings to all sentient beings on board who are auspiciously connected to this vessel.

If one calms the mind, removes all external distractions and looks deeply into the painting’s layers, one will perceive a subtle mystery entrusted within: the artist’s signature placed beside a future time marker — 01/01/2026.
